Leicester’s Riyad Mahrez is still a main target for AS Roma.

Italian club director of football and main market strategist, Monchi, is again trying to deepen transfer talks with Foxes.

The Leicester City star has been pushing for an exit for some time now, despite playing a belter of a season. He got into big trouble with the Foxes this January, when the Midlands club refused him a move to Manchester City.

He has scored nine goals and added seven assists in only 25 games, but recent reports indicated that he wanted to hang up his boots.
Yet, instead of ending his career, he is looking for a move to Roma, with the Italian reports claiming that the 27-year-old has already reached personal terms with the Giallorossi.

​They had courted him pretty intensely last summer, hoping to revamp him the way they did with Gervinho many years ago.
He is set to cost quite a bit, at least €56m according to the Italian papers, as he has a deal with the Foxes which will only end in 2020.

Roma Lines Up Potential Replacement for Liverpool GK Target Alisson.

Liverpool have been handed a boost in their summer pursuit for AS Roma’s star shot stopper Alisson.

The Reds were heavily linked with the Brazilian keeper in January but a move never materialised and he remained in Rome. French transfer sources are reporting that the Giallorossi are eyeing FC Toulouse goalkeeper Alban Lafont as a potential replacement.

And now Roma already looking to buy a new goalkeeper, Reports have suggested that the Serie A club are less than hopeful of holding onto their prized asset – who they value him around 5o million euros – in the summer transfer window.

After the departure of Wojciech Szczesny, Alisson has enjoyed an emphatic breakout year and a number of of brilliant individual displays has seen him become one of Europe’s most sought-after goalkeepers. With Liverpool, who have enjoyed a resurgence under Jurgen Klopp in recent years, seeing them able to once again compete for Europe’s top rated talent.

Simon Mignolet looks like he will be moving on from the Merseyside outfit in the summer after falling out of pecking order.

​AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker has expressed his delight at reports that 12-time European champions are interested in signing him, claiming that it feels great to have his performances recognized by some of the best clubs like Real Madrid and Liverpool.

Since departure of Wojciech Szczesny, Alisson became first choice for Roma at the beginning of the campaign and this season, he has been immense for the Romans who currently lie third in Serie A and have qualified for the quarterfinals of the Champions League.

Alisson said: “Those links massage the ego, it cannot be denied. People get satisfaction from having recognition. I feel very happy to have that recognition. It means that I am doing my job well, that they are watching me. Even more so when one hears about Real Madrid.”

Real Madrid are expected to be in the market for a new goalkeeper, the 25-year-old could be the man that Los Blancos turn to if they fail to land Man United’s David De Gea.

Kevin Strootman has been linked with a move to either Arsenal or Manchester United in the recent past and now he is possibly leaving AS Roma next summer, after five seasons in a row, Dutch international midfielder Kevin Strootman at the age of 28.

According to latest rumours collected in exclusive through Italian Sky Sports and few more transfer news sources in Italy, he is becoming more and more of a main summer target for Inter Milan, ready to exploit the chance to sign him. Currently on a deal with Giallorossi until June 2022, former PSV star is tracked by AC Milan as well, as said before.

Jose Mourinho reportedly is still keen on bringing the Dutch star to Old trafford but Inter Milan are said to be in the pole position to lure away the Roma star.
