Ceballos held talks with Madrid president Florentino Perez and explained his concerns at his lack of game time under Zinedine Zidane, and reportedly said he wanted to join Liverpool in the English Premier League.

Former Real Betis rising star is tracked by many more European clubs, and has been recently linked with a move to Liverpool.

Italian giants in talks to sign Premier League superstar

Leicester’s Riyad Mahrez is still a main target for AS Roma.

Italian club director of football and main market strategist, Monchi, is again trying to deepen transfer talks with Foxes.

The Leicester City star has been pushing for an exit for some time now, despite playing a belter of a season. He got into big trouble with the Foxes this January, when the Midlands club refused him a move to Manchester City.

He has scored nine goals and added seven assists in only 25 games, but recent reports indicated that he wanted to hang up his boots.
Yet, instead of ending his career, he is looking for a move to Roma, with the Italian reports claiming that the 27-year-old has already reached personal terms with the Giallorossi.

They had courted him pretty intensely last summer, hoping to revamp him the way they did with Gervinho many years ago.
He is set to cost quite a bit, at least 56m according to the Italian papers, as he has a deal with the Foxes which will only end in 2020.

AC Milan target Arsenal’s midfield wizard

AC Milan target summer raid for Jack Wilshere.

AC Milan are poised to make a move for Jack Wilshere after his eye-catching Europa League performance in midweek.

The Arsenal star is out of contract at the end of the season and has been unable to agree a new deal after being told to take a 25 per cent pay cut. The England midfielder, 26, who earns £120,000 a week, has been offered a basic weekly wage of £90,000, which he is set to be rejected.

Arsenal are keen to keep him but Juventus and Sampdoria are also eyeing the midfield ace. Wilshere is currently available to sign a pre-agreement with a foreign club as he has entered the last six months of his contract.

Rivals Liverpool and Manchester City also have been monitoring the situation.

Wenger on Wilshere’s future:

“I see Jack here because he is an Arsenal man, Nobody questions his love and commitment for the club.

“We have to find an agreement that makes him happy and wish that, in the future, he remains fit.”

AC Milan keen on Chelsea superstar

AC Milan have added Chelsea winger Willian to their summer shopping list, according to reports in Italy.

The Brazilian has been in brilliant form recently and he has scored five goals in his last five games for the Blues.

The 29-year-old, however, has not always been a regular under Antonio Conte and it has raised doubts over his future and now, according to reliable transfer reports in Italy claim that Milan have added Willian to their shortlist for this summer’s transfer window.

The San Siro club have reportedly been scouting the winger since the start of January and they have been impressed. Milan have made signing a wide forward a priority this summer and are watching a number of players.

If the Italian giants fail to secure the signing of the Chelsea’s star forward they may turn their attention towards Lyon’s Memphis Depay, who is also on their radar, while Bayer Leverkusen’s Leon Bailey is an option too.

Roma v Shakhtar Donetsk: UCL Match Preview

Di Francesco says his team is ready and he’s not concerned by deficit.

Roma head coach Eusebio Di Francesco says he is unconcerned by having to overturn the club’s 2-1 first-leg deficit against Shakhtar at the Stadio Olimpico on Tuesday.

Cengiz Under’s first-half strike in Ukraine was cancelled out by Facunda Ferreyra’s goal before a fantastic free-kick from Fred settled the first leg three weeks ago, leaving Shakhtar eyeing a first quarter-final spot since 2011. But Roma holds the home advantage to overturn the tie on it’s head.

Roma coach said: “This is not a match that we can manage, we must win, so the key to this match is being light-hearted and having an extreme determination to hurt our opponents.

Roma’s Gregoire Defrel may be fit to return after missing the last month with injury, but may not be risked despite an injury-hit first campaign in the Italian capital. Rick Karsdorp is still missing with a long-term injury and will not return until next month at the earliest.

Shakhtar defender Sergiy Kryvtsov, who was forced off with injury in the first leg, has not recovered in time for the game.
